Workshops for fibre artists at Halls Gap, on the edge of the spectacular Grampians National Park. Grampians Texture is a unique opportunity for textile artist to develop their passion of expression in one of Australia’s most natural environments.

Set in Halls Gap in the stunning Grampians National Park, (western Victoria) a myriad or workshops are offered under the inspiring direction of local, national and international tutors.

Traders selling specialist textile and art supplied will be at Halls Gap Centenary Hall, open to the general public and selling from 9am to 5pm daily.

Tutors are: Keith Lo Bue , Bonny Francis, SooMee Kim, Ailie Snow, Anna Reynolds, Celia Player Jan Irvine-Nealie, Aly de Groot, Martien van Zuilen, Colleen Weste, Prudence Mapstone, Liz Powell, Yvonne Twining, Phyllis Hoffman, Jeanette DeNicolis Meyer.

Workshops offered are for the weekend (2 days) or four days (Mon – Thu), 9.30 – 4pm for textile artists with Australian and international tutors, which cover felting, fibre dyeing, contemporary baskets, quilt design and making, jewellery, printing, paper, stitching by hand and machine, knitting, fabric and fibre.

All workshops are located in Halls Gap. Come and enjoy the local environment, in addition to the inspiring workshops, have a holiday and a great textile art experience.

Book the style and level of accommodation you desire. You have the option to cater for yourself or join other students and tutors for evening meals and activities. Early bird bookings close 1 December 2011, book early as many workshops are booking fast.
